Uses
What is Rocklatan used for?
Rocklatan is commonly used to reduce increased pressure in the eye in people with either open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension.
Rocklatan may also be used for other conditions as determined by your healthcare provider.
How does Rocklatan work (mechanism of action)?
Rocklatan contains two active ingredients: netarsudil and latanoprost. People with glaucoma or ocular hypertension have high intraocular pressure (IOP), or high pressure inside the eye. Having high IOP increases the risk for vision loss because of damage to the optic nerve in the eyes. Rocklatan works by helping the fluid in the eye drain out, which helps decrease IOP.
How is Rocklatan supplied (dosage forms)?
Rocklatan is available as a 0.02%/0.005% ophthalmic solution (eye drop) that is applied to the eye.
How should I store Rocklatan?
Before opening the bottle, Rocklatan should be stored in the refrigerator between 36 F to 46 F (2 C to 8 C). After you open the bottle, you can store it either in the refrigerator or at room temperature between 36 F to 77 F (2 C to 25 C) for up to 6 weeks. If you store Rocklatan in the refrigerator after opening, you can use it until the expiration date that is stamped on the bottle. Protect from light.
