Elizabeth Heubeck is a freelance writer based in Baltimore, Maryland. Her work regularly appears on WebMD. She also contributes to the Baltimore Sun’s Working section, in which she addresses topics on employee productivity and health. For Baltimore’s Child, a citywide newsmagazine for parents, she writes a monthly column on infants’ and children’s health issues. Her articles have also appeared in national consumer publications, such as Fitness Magazine and USA Today.com.
Heubeck has also contributed to several publications for physicians, including Physicians Practice Digest Magazine;Unique Opportunities, the Physician’s Resources; and DOC News, a journal sponsored by the American Diabetes Association that addresses patient care topics on diabetes, obesity, and cardiovascular risks.
Heubeck has been awarded the Outstanding Media Support Award from Clean Air Partners for an article on protecting against poor air quality. After earning an undergraduate degree in English from the University of Maryland, Heubeck received a graduate degree from the University of Baltimore in publication design. She lives with her husband and two children.
