Tim Locke is a writer and editor at WebMD, responsible for researching,
reporting, and editing health news stories and features.
Locke has more than 25 years of journalism and editorial experience. He began
his career with Southern Sound Radio in Sussex, England, then moved to
Independent Radio News, where he became network editor.
In 1994, he joined BBC Radio News on Radio 1's Newsbeat before moving to
5 Live Breakfast as an assistant editor and then planning editor. He’s
produced Radio 1’s news review of the year and special programs from Russia and
Hong Kong.
Before making the move to online journalism, Locke worked on major change and
technology programs in BBC News and BBC Future Media & Technology as
production editor.
Locke lives in Essex, England, with his wife and daughter.
