Moving more with your family brings you closer together -- and helps everyone become healthier. Here are three small things you can do to get started

Does your brood seem glued to the TV, phones, or other screens? Strike a deal with them. For example, let everyone have 30 minutes of screen time in exchange for 30 or more minutes of active fun that keeps everyone moving.

And feel free to keep that physical activity simple. You could all take a walk, play catch, head to the park, or even knock out chores around the home together. No family gym membership

required! Ask your kids for their ideas of fun ways to move, too. The more invested they are in the activity, the more likely they'll keep it up in the long run.

The perks of moving are many, and a fitter, happier fam is one of them.
