Alan D. Woolf, MD, MPH

Alan D. Woolf, MD, MPH, is associate professor of pediatrics at Harvard Medical School and an attending physician at Children's Hospital Boston. A board-certified toxicologist and pediatrician, he directs the hospital's clinical and fellowship training programs in medical toxicology and co-directs the pediatric environmental health center. He is also director of the Massachusetts/Rhode Island poison control center and president of the American Association of Poison Control Centers. Woolf has lectured nationally and internationally on childhood poisoning and pediatric environmental toxic exposures. His research interests include poisoning and childhood injury prevention. Woolf has authored or co-authored more than 150 published research reports, reviews, and other articles.
