Guy G. Massry, MD

Guy G. Massry, MD, was raised in Beverly Hills, and attended the University of Southern California for his undergraduate and medical school degrees. He completed his ophthalmology and first year of subspecialty training in ophthalmic plastic, cosmetic and reconstructive surgery at St. Louis University Anheuser-Busch Eye Institute. He then went on to complete a second year in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery at the famed Manhattan Eye, Ear & Throat Hospital in New York City. During the course of his medical training, Dr. Massry received numerous honors and distinguished himself amongst his peers and within his specialty.

Upon completion of his training, Dr. Massry was recruited to be the Director of the Division of Ophthalmic Plastic, Cosmetic and Reconstructive Surgery at the St. Louis University Anheuser-Busch Eye Institute, where he attained the rank of assistant professor. At a young age, Dr. Massry has developed a reputation as an excellent and innovative educator, clinician and surgeon. He has published numerous book chapters and manuscripts within his field and has taught a number of cosmetic and reconstructive eyelid procedures to many surgeons in various subspecialties.

After two years in St. Louis, Dr. Massry returned to Southern California to join the Sinskey Eye Institute, a world-renowned eyecare center, as the Director of Ophthalmic Plastic, Cosmetic and Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Massry is board certified ophthalmic plastic surgeon and a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, specializing in cosmetic eyelid, mid-face, forehead and facial laser procedures. He draws from his clinical experience to tailor surgery to the specific needs of each patient. In doing so, he emphasizes patient awareness and understanding of realistic expectations for the procedures he performs.
