Jessica Elste, PharmD, BCPS, completed her Doctor of Pharmacy degree at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. After graduation, she went on to complete a Post-Graduate Year (PGY) 1 pharmacy residency with NorthShore Community HealthSystem (now Endeavor Health), followed by a PGY2 residency focused in Medication Use Safety with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Center for Medication Safety (MedSAFE). Since completion of her PGY2 residency, she has worked at the University of Illinois Chicago Retzky College of Pharmacy, Department of Pharmacy Practice, as a clinical assistant professor and drug information specialist. Her interests include medication safety and drug information.
