Katherine (Katie) Evans, PharmD, CPP, BCOP, specializes in hematology/oncology pharmacy with over 15 years of experience both in the academic medical center and community hospital fields. She provides patient education and regimen reviews, serves as an education resource for health care professionals, precepts future pharmacists, and enjoys participating in various committees and clinic projects as needed.
Evans completed her pharmacy training with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree at the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy in Chapel Hill, NC, before working in the adult, oncology clinics at DUMC. After moving to the coast, Evans was the program director for the Pharmacy Technology program at CFCC for a couple of years before moving into her current role as a clinical pharmacist practitioner at the Novant Health Zimmer Cancer Center in Wilmington, NC. She enjoys spending time with her boys and family, going to the beach or on a boat ride, and needlepoint.
