Len Horovitz MD

Len Horovitz, MD, is a respiratory expert with board certification in both internal medicine and pulmonary medicine. The director of Carnegie Medical, he is a sought-after physician who treats many professional performers and has served as a medical spokesperson on a number of medical issues. He has made national appearances on Good Morning America, MSNBC, Discovery Channel, Fox, ABC, CBS, and National Public Radio. This summer, Oxygen media featured him in a series on National Men?s Health week.

Horovitz graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Brown University and attended New York University School of Medicine. He did a pediatric residency at Mount Sinai Hospital, followed by a residency in internal medicine and sub-specialty fellowship in Pulmonary Medicine at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City. He has been in private practice since 1982.

Horovitz also enjoys the distinction of being a practicing physician who performs actively as a concert pianist. He has appeared at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, and he has recorded for the Europadisc label. He was a finalist in the 1999 Van Cliburn International Piano Competition.
