Don Campbell

Don Campbell has spent more than three decades exploring and writing about the benefits of music for lifelong learning, and is a world-renowned authority on music and its role in education and health. A classical musician, educator, writer, and teacher, he works with symphony orchestras, schools, music educators, and health professionals worldwide. He has helped children in 30 countries improve their abilities to learn, create, and experience the joy of life through music. He serves on the boards of the Boulder Philharmonic and the American Music Research Center.

Campbell is the author of eight books, including the best-selling The Mozart Effect. In addition, he has produced 12 albums and in 1999 ranked No. 3 on Billboard magazine's year-end classical-artist chart. Campbell is also a leading lecturer and consultant to organizations ranging from corporations to parenting groups to symphony orchestras.
