Laurence M. Corash, MD, is cofounder and vice president of medical affairs for the Cerus Corporation. He is also a professor of laboratory medicine at the University of California, San Francisco and chief of the hematology laboratory for the University of California at San Francisco Medical Center. A consultant to the FDA Advisory Panel for Hematology Devices, Corash is a co-author of more than 140 articles.
