Laurie Clark is a registered nurse and International Board Certified Lactation consultant. Having spent more than 22 years in the nursing field, she made maternal-child health her specialty. Fourteen of those years have been spent in neonatal intensive care and newborn nurseries. Clark is also an experienced labor and delivery nurse. In the birth setting, she has helped mothers and babies get off to a successful breast-feeding start.
Clark started Mother-Baby Connection Inc. in May 1994 to provide mothers guidance, support, and encouragement to make breast-feeding an enjoyable as well as a beneficial experience. She is also co-owner of Breast-feeding Consultants of Northern Virginia, LLC.
